Unhappy Out for 8 weeks!

I'm not going to be able to workout for 8 weeks, cause I broke 4 of my toes at the gym last tuesday..
I've changed my cal intake a little, by a plan made from Dr. Pain and w8lifter
hopefully I will maintain the same weight, and maintain the muscles that I have.. but I'm planing on buying some DB and start on some upper body workouts at home.... I just miss the gym so much! especially when I read everyone's daily workouts!

Aww Sara, I'm sorry! I hope you get better soon!
Can't you go to the gym to work on your upper body?

Hope you get better...quickly...good idea to continue training your upper body...gym or at home...don't let a few broken toes slow you down...there's sooo much you can still do...well...pretty much everything except w8-bearing lower body movements and most cardio.

If you go into the gym you could even still do some lower body exercises...leg extensions, hip abduction/adduction, leg curls, etc. That should be enough to maintain the muscularity anyway.

As for upper body...that goes w/o saying...keep training hard....if you have weaknesses you want to work on in terms of your upper body times like these ars a gr8 time to work on them. I don't even think you'll need a big adjustment calories-wise since if you follow DP/w8 recommendations you probably don't do a lot of cardio in the first place.

If you want to burn a few extra cals just switch to a circuit-style of training for a double punch of cardio and strenght training!

Searching for the right balance...

Ouch, either one of those are nasty habits and not easy to kick. I've known two people who have beaten one of each of those items and neither was an easy experience.

How did you break your toes? How is the calcium intake?
