Question Morning workout and meal timing question

    Hey all.

This is my first post so bear with me. Probably too much in this post. I've been reading all of the posts for about a month and got a user login last week.

I work out in the morning before work doing weights on M, W, F and will start cardio on T, TH. Should I eat before my cardio days or wait until I'm done?

My short-term goal is to lose the "hate" handles around my middle and generally tone-up for the summer. I am 5'10", weigh 160lbs, 31" waist, and have no idea about my BF%. I've lost 10lbs in the last 5-6 weeks since I started back with just weights. My long term goal is to weigh 175-180 with <10% BF.

    Meal plan:
Meal 1: 2 eggs with bell pepper
Meal 2: protein shake (20g) and nuts (almonds or peanuts)
    Meal 3: chicken breast, peas
Meal 4: protein shake (20g) and fruit (apple or peach)
Meal 5: whatever is for dinner at home
Mael 6: protein shake (20g) and 1 tbsp of flax

My biggest diet problem is a very, very large sweet tooth. I just ordered the syntax Nectar protein for after dinner to help with that.

Any thoughts on improving this? Thanks

If you can its best to do cardio on an empty stomach but on your lifting days make sure you eat before hand.

Do you plan on refeeding or carbing up? You don't have enough carbs in your diet.

You can probably eat more cals. 2 eggs for meal one is not enough food at all. Meal 3 could use some sort of fat source, maybe flax. "what ever is for dinner" may realy get in the way of your results.

Even whern cutting I don;t ;ike to do cardio on an empty tank. I amreally scared of losing muscle. I usually grab a protein shake (whey) before I do the cardio just to try and get something in me.

ok, i have a question that's been bugging me for a while... when you ask to see what people are eating they almost always give their 6 meals a day or whatever... but my question is... do these people actually eat the same 6 meals EVERYDAY? if so, i don't see how that wouldn't get EXTREMELY boring!

I eat the same six meals everyday for the most part. BUT they are different each meal so its not too much. Spices, method of preparation etc. combining different veggies or stir frys or whatever, helps spice it up a bit. Not boring for me anyway

I've been eating six meals for so long now that it's habbit to eat every three ours. It's usually the same thing everyday but still it doesn't bother me I enjoy all the stuff I eat and the only thing I get sick of is eggs. My mom gets mad that I'm eating all the time but you do what ya gotta do I suppose.
Homer: Hey! I saved your life! That egg sandwich could have killed you by cholesterol.
Lenny: Pfft, forget it, Homer. While it has been established that eggs contain cholesterol, it has not yet been proven conclusively that they actually raise the level of serum cholesterol in the human
    blood stream.
