I read that it is low glycemic. May not be news for you but its pretty good news for me. Since I am trying to keep my blood sugar down.
I have a question though. Can someone tell me if they know, how many carbs in measurements that honey has? I am only at 30 grams a day however I thought it might be a good mix with homemade sugar free peanut butter (to throw in a shake) or whatever.
Also..about carbs. When I read the ingredients off of "no sugar added ice cream like Slender (which is yummy by the way) it says something like
sugars 5 grams
Sugar alcohol 4 grams
Does that mean its 9 grams total? And what is sugar alcohol...is it fast brning or worrysome?

1) The GI of honey varies from 32 to 87 depending on variety. See http://www.anycities.com/user1/mendosa/gilists.htm
2) As honey is ~100% carbs, it will be ~4 cals/gram
3) Sugar alcohols (Sorbitol, Xylitol, Lactitol etc) except Maltitol have a very low GI (see link above) but will give you the sh!ts if you eat too much.
