    orange juice

hello...is orange juice beneficial? my goal is to maintain muscle mass and lose body fat so i eat about 6 to 7 small meals a day now. macro is 40/40/20 and my carbs consist of sweet potatos, brown rice and such, no milk, bread, russett potatoes, flour etc...however it's gets dull eating sometimes and was wondering if it would be ok to substitute the 1/2 cup of brown rice i eat with my tuna with an 8 oz glass of orange juice for two of my meals? i really like orange juice and would like to incorporate it into my diet. thanks in advance...

Orange juice is loaded with sugar and is not recommended while trying to lose bodyfat.

    Same with the russett potato

I LOVE OJ! But like Jodi said, it is loaded with sugar and colories. I might have one glass a month. I drink water most of the time.

If you need the taste of OJ, kill it with water (1/2 and 1/2 or less). It helps cut down on the sugar intake.

    No sugar while cutting, however...
