    got rice..

    i have a quick question..is rice good for bulkin up???
    cuz i eat alots of rice ..btw i'm chinese ..

    well then the answer would be no....white rice is high on the glycemic index and will cause you to store fat...brown rice is a slow burning carb that is much better for bulking up...try adding rice wine vinegar and salt when cooking and it can be used for sushi as well...i use it all the time

    carbing up is done when you are on a low carb diet that mostly consists of veggies...it is done to refuel your muscles after depleting them for a while...this shouldn't be done on a bulking diet though since you consume large amounts of carbs anyways. carb ups are generally done at the last meal and consist of things like potatos, bananas, rice, oatmeal. if you look in the nutritional section of the forum under the sticky section there is a good article on carbing up.
