    Anybody eat venison?

I love chicken, but eating it every day gets old. I've heard that venison is lower in fat than beef, and I can get it cheaper than beef. Anybody else incorporate this in their diet? I figure a 60% chicken/turkey, 20% venison, 20% fish would provide plenty of variety and still be pretty good for the diet.

Venison is awesome!!! I haven't been out hunting as much as I'd like the past few years, but can usually score it from friends. I think it's a thousand times better than beef. And yes, it's supposedly a lot better for you.

It's usually too dry though and most people load it up with sauces and stuff to compensate...

Venison is the ONLY meat I eat. The reason it seems "dry" is the lack of fat that is in beef. If cooked properly.......just as juicy. 100% organic and no preservatives. Ted Nugent can't be wrong.(can he?)
And Oceandude......if you remember, bambi grew up to have a big ol' rack of horns! lol
yes......I once killed a beer, just to watch it die.
