Has anyone tried one of these yet? A trainer at my gym recommends them since most of the carbs are made up of sugar alcohols.

There actually are a couple of decent bars out there. I only use them when I have to but I would rather eat a bar when I am on a plane than the airline food.
AST makes a pretty good bar called Vyopro, it has zero glycerin and only 1 gram of sugar. There is also a new bar by Chef Jay which is made with whole grain oats.
Yeah I just looked up that Vyopro bar - doesn't look too bad. Saturated fat isn't too high and also there are no partially hydrogenated oils in in the ingredients.
Homer: Hey! I saved your life! That egg sandwich could have killed you by cholesterol.
Lenny: Pfft, forget it, Homer. While it has been established that eggs contain cholesterol, it has not yet been proven conclusively that they actually raise the level of serum cholesterol in the human
blood stream.![]()
