Hey everyone.. I need help gaining weight. I'm 115lbs i got fast metabolism so it's hard for me to gain.. if i don't eat anything for a day i lose around 5 lbs ! Ahh.. I was thinking about getting weight gainer but I wanted to see what you guys suggested first.. going the natural way if you can please.. like without supplements or pills.. any advice is good though thanks =)
I'm 17.. diet i'm not that great on but usually it's like oatmeal or cereal for breakfast.. lunch is fastfood.. kfc chicken.. del taco.. or some mexican.. then i eat again when i get home.. maybe a hot pocket or 2.. a burrito.. and a can of tuna.. then later rice.. and some pork or beef usually!.. haha..and then maybe a cup of noodles at night =) yeah i know my diet is messed up..
okay well my training schedule is just..working out every other day..
4-5 sets of 5-7 reps for bench - 62 1/2lbs. on each side.. bar may be 15-20 lbs
4-5 sets of 5-10 curls - 25 lbs. each side
4-5 sets of 10 suicides - 25 lbs. each side
Well diet is the key to success. Looks like you need to eat more "clean" foods. Check out the Stickies in the Diet Forum and read up. Plenty of good stuff there
Keep in mind:
Be sure to have 5-6 small meals per day
*Protein in EVERY meal
* Stick to clean carbs like oats, brown rice and yams
I hope your workouts entail more then you posted above. Not all body parts are hit and there arent nearly enough exercises.
Why thanks Leslie.. i'm not a serious weight lifter! Maybe when I get bigger I will be.. just working on upper body incase i need to fight =P I'll see what I can learn thanks a lot again.. bah.. clean foods
For legs, don't get into that fancy crap. Stick with basics, squat, leg press, extentions and leg curls. You can modify later.
As for your diet, that is one of the crappiest I have ever seen. I know this because mine used to look very similar. lol Get that processed crap out of there. Hot Pockets don't have anything you want to put in your body on a regular basis. If you have a super fast metabolism, you may consider adding some sort of weight gainer. You need to start getting calories in there man. And one problem very thin people have is they do not know how to eat. They think just because they are full or not hungry that they do not need to eat. It is that thinking that has kept them skinny up to that point.
I eat lots =P I guess I just need to eat even more..and with the leg presses and such.. I work out at home and I only got free weights.. what do you suggest?
I was thinking about weight gainer also.. but I'm still trying to see if there's any other way .. thanks for the advice

They give like 10-15grams of protein though!.. hah..mm.. maybe someone would like to help me make a diet to gain weight but be healthy at the same time? Like.. reasonable stuff I could eat.. chicken.. tuna.. peanut butter.. stuff of that sort.. thanks .. i love this place =D
