    Protein Conversions?

I am wondering how does everyone find out how many grams of protien and things like that are in meat. I am starting my new diet but can't figure out how to compute the amount of protien and fat per ounce in a cut of meat (all meat), so I was wondering if there is like a chart or a rule of thumbn of some sort to find these figures out. Also is there any other tables, etc... for all foods?
