How much water are you drinking?
Most people on this board seem to recommend about 1.5 grams of protein per pound of body weight. What kind of ratio are you using?
Over the last month i have been trying and succeeding with putting on a few extra pounds. I went from about 175-185 in a month by eating alot and cutting spicey food out of my diet. And now, over the past 2 weeks ive been having trouble with the same eating habits. It seems as if my gag reflex is more sensitive. If i try to eat as much as i was eating 4 weeks ago i sometimes will start to gag and eventually throw what i ate/drank up. The reason i may think im eating too much protein is because ive thrown up my protein drink on a few occasions. The protein drink did the same thing as the food would, it caused me to gag and cough and eventually throw it up. IF it helps any my protein drink consists of optimum why protein (2 scoops), 4 table spoons of peanut butter(maybe a bit more) and 5 grams of creatine. I take two of these per day usually minus the creatine in the 2nd drink.

I have no idea why protein would do that to you. However I want to say HOLY SHIT you are eating 28G of Fat from PB in your Protein Shake?![]()

I've been to 520g protein a day and have never thrown up because of it.

Yeah it was alot, and somewhat overkill. I am happy with ~360g a day.
i drink about a gallon of water or more a day.. also i have no real ratio for protein consumtion, i just eat eat eat.

As nice as it is to just "eat eat eat" I really believe you need to know what your eating, on paper, for the best results in tweakability and self study.
