    finding bodyfat %, opinions?

I found an interesting site that calculates your bodyfat percentage for you, based on a large number of measurements. I have never had a hydrostatic test taken to see what my bf% really is, but what this site gave me seemed pretty much on target. It took measurements of: neck, shoulders, chest, arm, forearm, wrist, waist, abdomen, hips, thigh, calf, knee, and ankle (I think that's all of them.)

Check it out at www.mybodycomp.com Its free, and I haven't gotten any spam yet. What do you think of this type of measurement? Does it seem like it would be accurate?

    body comp

I tried body comp. It seems to work better than those scales. I was in shock when I got on my sister's body fat scale and it said 26%. Doing it by body comp I was at 17%. I think that (body comp) is more accurate based on my diet, exercise and work out program for the last 3 months.

After reading this thread, I tried mybodycomp.com, then compared the results with ones obtained by using calipers. They were within 1% BF of each other (the bodycomp calc was 1% lower).

Given that result, I would say the bodycomp site is fairly accurate ... and it's free!
