    carbs ?

    I'm tryin to lose wieght and i was told not to eat any carbs after 12 noon. But i dont want my body to use my protein for energy, so whens a good time to have some ? I currently eat a bowl of cheerios in the morning and thats basically the only meal with carbs i eat.

    Cheerios are not a good choice of carbs. You can eat carbs after 12. Check out that sticky I mentioned in your other thread and when your ready post your current diet and we can look it over.

    That is a myth that you shouldn't eat carbs after 12.

    Bump. It all just gets stored for later usage unless you go overboard on your daily needs. Then it turns to fat.

    you need carbs in the morning

    but you also need them before and after intense cv or weights workouts, for energy and so not to lose muscle

    i've cut down my carbs more lately, made the mistake of having no decent carbs before my weights session today... it was my worst weights session in ages, just no energy... still had the strength but i had to chop off a few sets

    i learnt my lesson, even when cutting you need the right balance of carbs in your diet, use them when you need them
