off-week-eating.......
BODYBUILDING SUPPLEMENTS High Quality Supplements For Bodybuilders and Athletes. www.ironmaglabs.com hello,
Normally, when I am lifting, i eat 6 or 7 meals a day. every so often, I take a week off from lifting to relax. I might play basketball or something to stay active a little. My question is this: how should i change my eating routine. Since im not burning tons of calories, i figure i shouldnt eat as much. right? but if i only eat 4 meals a day, is this enough to maintain mass. During this week, my only goal is to NOT lose weight. tell me what you think... |

Eat the way you always do. I don't change my diet just cuz I'm not working out. I eat the same your body still needs fuel.

I know the body needs fuel, but i eat a ton when lifting-to grow. I just think 7 meals, without burning many calories, is too excessive.
If i ate like i do now, and didnt lift, i'd be fat like norwegian sea turtle. thanks for your opinion tho. |

I eat as usual through off periods, maybe dropping the carbs a little towards the end of the day. During that rest period you could still be going through some catch up growth spurts.
