When trying to loose body fat, is it really necessary to avoid the carbs in your last meal?

Also, wanted to ask if these foods are OK to have...
*25 calorie hot chocolate p 2/ c 4/ f 0
*sugar free fat free pudding
*sandwitch meat
*canned sweet peas

u usually want to avoid carbs in the last meal because ur body will not have a chance to burn them off...which u want to do for losing body fat....and i wouldn't recommend having hot chocolate or pudding..no matter how "fat-free" or calorie reduced it is...sandwich meat???u mean deli? the regular kind is better...and vegetables are always better frsh, not canned

Chuck Norris once lost his keys and couldn't remember where he put them. So he tortured himself for half an hour until he gave up their location.

I luv canned peas, but they are quite high in sugar-thats what the label said when i read it the other day. Deli meats are quite high in salt, and other additives. Sugar free pudding is great. I dont know how good it is for you though, its basically aspertame, but tastes good if you have a sweet tooth!

It is not necessary to completely avoid carbs in your last meal, you do however want to make the right choices and eat the right amounts and that depends on many factors such as what you ate the rest of the day and what time you workout.

I workout usually in the morning if it's a cardio day then before meal1 and if it's a weights day then after meal 2.
I was thinking of adding vegies or apple or oatmeal to the last meal (to get some more fiber in too).

Here's what my diet is like (still working on it though):
1: egg + deli turkey + 1/2c oatmeal
2: apple (in class so really can't eat a meal here)
3: chicken, salad w/ tomatoe, EFA, fat free French
4: tuna + broccoli
5: some sort of protein (tuna or chicken or shrimp)

Every other day I'll add 1/2c brown rice or a yam to meal 3 or 4.
I was thinking of adding vegies or apple or oatmeal to meal 4 or 5 only if I'm REALLY hungry.

Also, how often is it OK to have the pudding? I'm a chocolotaholic LOL.
What are your thoughts on the 25 calorie hot chocolate?
