    i never thought of chinese food as being something you shouldn't eat

    doesn't it consist of a lot of rice, veggies and meats?

    I think if they have something like tariaki chicken or tariaki salmon you're pretty safe with that, along with the stir fried vegies, just ask them not to add the souse and stuff.

    I'm Russian, but I think that the stuff I listed would be the safest out of all the other stuff if you MUST have something at Chinese.

    Not the typical American Chinese restaurant, they're pretty bad, a lot of fried crap.

    But we have a joint here called Tokyo Joe's (Fast Japanese food) which you can get a rice bowl with brown rice, white meat chicken and fresh veggies, which is a very healthy little dish.
