    Oh no I cheated!

ok, so i had a bad day yesterday and didnt eat for 9 hours. (I was fishing all day for blackfish and didnt have time to eat)

on the way home, i started getting the idea that this might turn out to be a cheat day. since it was my day off i figured "why the hell not". after coming home and realizing my gf and i needed to do some food shopping, i said "the hell with it" and went to the diner and had a TWIN CHEESEBURGER DELUXE WITH BACON AND FRENCH FRIES!

My question is, after eating a big meal like this, should I still eat three hours after? should i take some "fat binder supplement"? do those work? or, should i just finish eating for that day and start all over the next morning? thanks

That is ALWAYS how I fail, by not eating frequently. This is especially a problem on the weekends for me. I do allow myself pizza once a week though.

its funny, i dont crave candy or sweets, even before i started training. I WANT FOOD. as a midnight snack, i would want a chicken parmesan hero, not a cookie or piece of cake. it's interesting. except for the occasisional twinkie, when i wasnt on a diet and training, i ate NO sweets.

They say men crave things like meat and potatoes, and women crave things like chocolate and sweets. That is so true with me and my boyfriend! I used to be addicted to sugar...but I dont think I have ever craved a hamburger, Id rather get the icecream!

    i cheat most weekends

normally have some chocolates (aka 'candy' as you American's like to call it )

this evening i had a big bowl of luxory cereal... oat crunch with honey and choc pieces, loads of milk poured over it, but my excuse is i'm recovering from bein ill and my body needs the extra carbs... i'll have cut them back down this week though back to the cottage cheese before bed instead of the cereal, banannas, biscuits, apple pie and hot chocolate

I have cheated for the last 2 weeks straight , all in all a cheat is good for the mental aspect of dieting. One cheat meal isn't going to make a difference. Trust me. For me the it only made the difference when I polished of a gallon of ice cream. I won't even get into the details, but it wasn't nice.

it's not the one meal that's teh problem... it's the lack of meals he missed for the 7 hours or whatever that really hurts... at least that's how i see it...

But when i cheat, i always think... ok, 3500 calories in a pound of fat... so if i just cheated badly and took in an extra thousand or two of calories... that's not even one pound...

I agree, the more I eat clean the less temptations I have, especially if I am eating regularly through the day. If I miss a string of meals those cravings come into play and you want to eat and eat NOW.

    I am PISSED OFF.

I have been going to the gym every day this week except yesterday, and when i went to the gym tonight, i weighed 278! i was 275 all week!

i went to the gym tonight at the same time i always go and didnt eat anyhting unusual, besides feeling a littlel bloated.

is it possible that one meal made me gain 3lbs? could it be water weight since it is so salty?

im glad i weighed myself before i worked, because i literally beat the hell out of myself tonight at the gym. got my best workout ever.

Hey FG, minor fluctuations like that are quite normal. It can be due to several things, but I wouldnt sweat it so much. Thats one of the problem with weighing yourself frequently, those fluctuations can make you worried that you're doing something wrong.

Anyways, just stick to your plans and keep strong in the gym and with your diet... it'll drop down.

The cheat meal that I really want is: 1/2 cup natural PB with some almonds and cashews as well

Water, I gain wicked weight on pizza and get thirsty as all hell. My pizza is something like 360% USRDA sodium.

i ain't a big fan of peanut butter, jam or bread

i'd much rather get some ben n' jerrys ice cream, chop up some mars bars in it, add in a flake and a choc brownie, maybe a sliced bananna too

oh damm, that would be so nice... i'd never eat that right now on my cut, but when i'm on my bulk that will be my cheat every saturday night post a large bag of tortilla chips watchin a dvd

hell yeah, i got something to look forward to now!
