All depends on what your goals are and where you have set your macros at.

If (key word "if") you want about 15g of fat per meal then 1 tbls would be good.

BTW a better fat choice would be Flax seed oil or Fish oil.

Get some omega 3's in ya'

I agree on the second point but not on the first. Olive oil is excellent and it profile is amazing. It is much better to get more Mono in your diet rather than omega 3. Sure they are important but to say that they are better is wrong.

A good ratio, to go by is 3:1:1 IMO. Monooly:sat, Mono fats and sat, have been shown to raise T-levels. Too much Polyunsaturated fats have many benefits but may also cause some problems if taken in large quanities

It all comes down to balance

    Nice post _Aj .

However, I'm one to always tell people more about n3. Reason being is because most people on average get more than enough n6 and rarely n3. I agree with what you said above but unfortuantely most don't get any poly so that is why I feel the need to stress it more.

    Thanks Jody

    Jaysun,

it doesn't matter when you take it. I would split up the dosages and get maybe a teaspoon in each serving. Also if you take it in the morning then it will most like be used for energy. If you take it a night you may see some further benefits from it. Also I would recommend fish oil the next time as you body has to convert the n3 into EPA and DHA. But w/ fish oil you get the straight source.

Try to get 6g if your in a hypocaloric, and maybe 15grams if your in hypercaloric.

you also don't have to stop taking the olive oil in your shakes it should be your choice and depending on your fat intake.
