Dateline’ hidden cameras investigate cleanliness of America’s top 10 fast food chains
Sorry if this has been posted already..

In a Chicago, in a Wendy’s, inspectors found dead rodent decomposing on a rat trap. At a California Taco Bell, someone bit into a taco, only to find chewing gum. An inspector in Texas found a worm in a Wendy’s salad. At a Hardee’s in Florida, a customer was handed a cup of soda with blood dripping from it. There was blood on her change as well.

As long as it tastes good. I just close my eyes, pop it in and enjoy!

I'm a food safety consultant so I watched that NBC story the other night. Nothing surprised me.

However, the dangers are not restricted to fast food restaurants.

Everytime you eat out you are at risk. Including things like the birthday cake from the local grocery store.

Your best defense is a healthy immune system. In addition to your keen eye for unsanitary conditions.

    Clam chowder.

I plan to do the whole gambit. Seven days in a week, seven meals in a day... I think I could hit them all! I mean, this is my health we are talking about!!

On that note, I was shopping today and went past KFC, Burger King and McD's, kept going and went to a health food store and got some yoghurt coated apricot pieces, but THEN went back and had a McD's war, chicken salad before heading home doing push ups and dumbells curls and pounding a protein shake

That's just disgusting. I stopped eating at KFC years ago when one of my chicken burguers had blood in it (I bit it and there were veins and stuff). I guess it was undercooked.

At least they used real chicken... I hope.

My brother found an insect in his taco at taco bell once. He showed them and they gave him tons of free food.

it's ironic how if something gross happens with your food at a restaurant they want to make it up to you with more free food....

the last thing i'd want is MORE food from the place that i had a gross experience eating at!

Yes I know, that's how I feel too.

As far as those bugs I don't know, it could be real or could be planted too. Regardless, i'm sure everyfood has had that sort of thing happen one time or another. Besides, the bugs in it will jack op the protein content! This one time there was a big worm in a head of lettuce I bought.
