There's gotta be somekind of routine you eat by. Just give us a general idea of how your day goes with food.
I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer. Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration. I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over me and through me. And when it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path. Where the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain...

Haha, alright... well you can possibly loose some fat through a combination of lifting and a little cardio even without changing your diet too much.

However, that said... the real progress is made in the diet. Thats what makes or breaks a routine really, giving your body what it needs to repair itself without giving it all the bad things that will make you fat.

Listen though, gaining muscle and loosing fat is not an easy process. The only way to go about it is in an intelligent fashion, so you're going to have to do some planning with your diet and work out routine. If you're not willing to do that dont waste your time with trying to look better. Thats a bit harsh, but its the truth. If it were easy everyone on the planet would be in great shape.

Well said eggs! If you can have some control over your diet, I'd take it Antdan. Your young and at a great place to put on muscle and get in shape. Do it now instead of later.

first of all, loosing fat and gaining muscle takes time, it happens in a really slow process...
    avoid coke and "sugarful" drinks..
    avoid chocolates, cake, etc...
    drink fat-free milk, eat fat-free cheese/yougurt.
and drink lots of water, because metabolism "sweating" needs water to happen.
eat skinless chicken breast, water canned tuna, etc..
you don't have to stick to a meal plan, just know what to eat and what not to eat..
and don't forget to stay away from fast-food restaurants, all of their food is full of fats, and don't contain healthy nutrients..
get a very small ammount of fats, removing all fat from your diet is bad..
    ---------------------------
you need to workout regularly, it'll help you loose fat faster and build muscles.
if your diet does not contain enough proteins, get a protein shake.
if you're over weight, fat burners will help "during" excersise, such as Xenadrine EFX, Stack2 by www.mdoubleyou.com, Hydroxycut sucks don't consider it.

umm, and don't be fooled by any type of diet that claim that you can loose 10 pounds in a week or something..
also, remember that you'll never loose fat or gain muscle unless you workout, supplements alone won't work.

this is just a very basic idea about loosing fat and gaining muscle.

think about this when you find yourself forced to eat fast-food..

"I've spent the last ten days working out very hard, and I'm about to screw it all up!"

and that's completely true, all that fat in meat, cheese, mayonise, french-friese.. and sugars in coke, equals what you've burned in 10 days!!

so why not eat a salad instead of going 10 days backwards away from your goal?!
