    Having second thoughts

Ok so when I started to diet I didn't know anything about BB and lost alot of fat but lost ALOT of muscle as well. I then started to work out and have been building pretty nice now but still have a decent amount of fat (in my eyes) and others say its stretched skin or what ever.

I started to bulk and have set a goal at 185lbs by begining of January. Then I was planning on cutting till like June so I slim down for my vacation time and college in Florida

I will prolly lose alot of weight while I cut and still be kinda slanky once I cut. So I was wondering how long do most people cut for? I really want to get bigger but it sure is taking its toal mentally in regards to not sliming down yet. I know I keep saying I'm bulking and I have not gained much fat but I really can't wait to cut heh. Would you guys recomend me extending my bulking for a few months or so or will I still be able to grow some during a cut? I am currently 5'8" 171lbs 18 years old, pretty lame I know. I am in your hands should I bulk and forget about cutting in January or will I still gain during a cut?

cut for about 12-16 weeks......yes extend your bulk. A lot of times guys will ask me what kind of diet they should do to cut. My response is always "what the hell do you want to cut". These guys are already small, they may have body fat, and if they cut they would just be skinny. Why not just bulk up and put on some size and then cut. Also, if you are bulking don;t be a freak when you are bulking. Most people say they are bulking and they are eating 2500 cals and barely making gains. Who is going to put on size at 2500cals? Just eat, don't worry about it, just put on size. As long as you train hard then you wont get that sloppy.

I don't fully agree with this. It's important that when you "just eat" that you don't just eat calories from anywhere. I meanyou could easily get in 2000 calories from a few big donuts, but it's not going to help you much. When you're bulking just act like your cutting for two people! Eat bowl after bowl of oatmeal and breast after breast of chicken - then we're talking.

Lenny: Pfft, forget it, Homer. While it has been established that eggs contain cholesterol, it has not yet been proven conclusively that they actually raise the level of serum cholesterol in the human
    blood stream.

Don't you ever just get bored of eating the same ol' stuff everyday? I mean for like months I have been eating the same foods for so long, I have been trying to change it up and tonight I made a killer stew. But I guess I will just have to keep going till Im big.

There is some stuff I get sick of. I get sick of canned chicken and eggs, but that's about it. I can eat grilled chicken/turkey breast, venison, oatmeal, and apples till the cows come home.

Yes, M-F I pretty much eat the same thing all six times per day and it gets pretty boring, but I feel better with this consistency of the same foods.

On the week-ends I go off of my diet a bit though, and eat slightly different, e.g. going our to dinner Saturday night.

Don't say pizza heh I haven't eaten it in like a year and a half 2 years (can't remember losing brain cells over it). I will the last day of my bulk other wise I'll go nuts.

I eat the same stuff mon-fri as well then layoff of it on the weekends but mon-fri sure does get tough at times.

I'm so happy that its winter now b/c I can go hunting and load my freezer with venison. Just got one the other day and I'm enjoying it. And there will be PLENTY more throughout the year now. Every one should come to my venison dinner I hold every year the sunday before superbowl. 20 varieties of only the highest potency of protien you can find for FREE. Wow I can't wait.
