    Post cardio meal...

    Hey guys... you know after a cardio(not a weight training workout) do you need to consume a protein shake like after a weight training session? Why?
    P.s I know you definitely got to have some carbs after your cardio I just dont know about the protein

    I just wait for my next scheduled meal. Why do you think you definately have to have carbs after your cardio? Where the hell did you hear that?

    I would have both in the form a protein shake along with a carb source.

    I thought you had to replsih your glycogen stores?? Im on a cutting so i take in little to no carbs as my last meal an hour or 2 before my cardio.

    After cardio?? Replenish after your workout, no need to replenish after cardio.
