Good fats!
how many times a day should you be having fats? I am currently doing carb cycling and it says at least with two meals...i have this problem with almonds! they are just too damn good!

One your refeed days you should intake a little more than low carb days.

so pretty much you have 15 grams of fat a day? i a fish cap is 1 gram correct? what are good refeed foods? ive been trying to find an article on how to refeed correctly...

No, not just 15G of fat a day. During carb cycling you are suppose to have 2 meals that are higher in fat. For example, Steak for 1 meals and Eggs (including yoks) for another meal. I typically get close to 40G of fat a day.
You don't refeed on Carb Cycling. You have high carb days and its the same foods that are in TP's article under Approved Carbs. |

thanks! that cleared it up! but i usually half 1/2 an ounce of almonds with my oats, but i also have 1 yolk is that bad? i really dont eat red meat that much...I usually have some kind of fat with dinner...What else is needed? and how long should one stay on the cycle? I too have that dilemma of high carb days that i eat too much...Ive been trying to find a good refeed thread and how to determine what is best for me...A lot is confusing...LOL Im doing a mini comp in my gym 12 week transformation..I did one before and i came in 2nd..Im trying to get 1st...cheating is allowed 2 meals per week...can anybody shed some insight? Thanks

To refeed you have to follow a deficit for a couple of days. Carbs should be around 170 or below but not neccessarily. Then load on carbs for a day to get the metabolism going again. The frequency of refeeds varies on your bodyfat.

thanks jodi, the competion im in allows cheating with 2 meals a week..i know yolks are okay to eay..sorry for the confusing post...thanks for the insight though..i usually half 1/2 an ounce with breakfast and then another 1/2 an ounce towards the end of the day...or i will have 1/2 an ounce or a tblspn with flax with dinner..it all depends..i dont even think im having that many carbs..not a big fruit eater..but when i do i only like strawberries and any other type of berries..does it matter which meals you have fats? never post workout of course..

what do you mean carb meals? dont most of the meals have carbs? sorry im still confused as ever! or dont you eat carbs with the meals?

No carb days don't have any carb meals except veggies
Low Carb days have 3 meals with carbs including veggies which is 1G of carbs per pound of Bodyweight divided by 3 meals High Carb day consists of 4 carb meals Jeanice did you read TP's original article? There are links to both of his articles in my signature. Check em out! ![]() |

i did read it, thats not what i meant...it says you will have the fattier meals in between your carb meals...so you mean protein, fats a nd veggies in oppse tp protein, fat and starch? do the carbs have to be spread evenly?
