When I first started working out I went on a lower carb and calorie diet. I have been working out very hard for the last three months. I have lost alomst 50 pounds in the three months. The crazy thing is for the last couple of weeks I have been eating pretty much what I want to a certain degree, and I keep lossing weight. I was at 241 pounds 6 foot 1 and I only wanted to loose 40 pounds. I have cut down on some of the cardio but every 3 to 4 days im lossing 2 pounds. I think what has happened is that I have restarted my matabolism, but I could be tottaly wrong. What do you think?

That's exactly what is happening. I've experienced the same thing. I was on a low fat/low calorie diet once and when I got to my goal, I went back to a more normal diet. But I kept losing 1-2 lbs a week for about a month! Your body has become a calorie burning machine.Originally posted by once was fat
