    Agree with P-funk!
I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer. Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration. I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over me and through me. And when it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path. Where the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain...

I'm trying to do the impossible, gain muscle and lose fat...and it's working. In the last 3 months, I've gained 6 lbs of LBW, and shed 10 lbs of fat. Started out using 25C/45P/30F but later tweaked to 30C/40P/30F. I have to admit, a 4 week 1-AD cycle thrown in there didn't hurt matters.

I'm no expert Don, but I think you need to up the fat to 30%, with saturated fat being under 10%.

50/30/20 is okay. I used to bulk with that ratio and sometimes will go with that for a week or so during my bulks to try and lean out a bit. The problem that I have with that ratio is that I feel, for me at least, that there is not enough carbs to make the protein anabolic. Also, that is the ratio I use when cutting so I want to mix it up so that when I go to diet my body has to adjust to a diffeerent break down, know what I mean?

Personally I'm on a 40/30/30...sometimes I'll switch to a 50/25/25...or a 45/25/30....I use some strange ratios, but it seems to be working so far....I just orient all my carb intake around breakfast and two post-workout meals, with Udo's, nuts, plenty of red meat and inhuman amounts of veggies for every other meal. Seems to be working so far...I'm putting mass on very slowly, but all the mass I'm accumulating is quality mass, as opposed to fat, which I think I've gained virtually none of in the past three months, which is a good thing considering I do no cardio and have gone from working out 6x a week to 4....

    Peace.

When giving a ratio what are the order of the macros. Is 50/30/20 P/C/F or C/P/F? Cheers
