Never liked greasy foods to begin with, HOWEVER, even after 5 years, I STILL LOVE PIZZA & BEER![]()
Ok since I have been coming to these board I have learned alot and have improved a tons. I've gained 20 something lbs and my bf% hasn't changed. But sometimes the craving kill me. I do cheat every once in a while and it hasn't harmed me yet but other than that my diet is pretty damn good. I cook all my own meals and I know everything that goes into them. Except when I go out or special occastions.
I once read here that if you can trick yourself into not eating something you will never want it again. Well I tricked my stomach into that because I can no longer eat anything greasy or else I get sooo sick I can't bare it. But my mind still says I want it.
Has anyone expericed this and what did you do? Or has everyone gone through this stage and just waited for it to pass?
PS: Just for the record you guys all stinkI hadn't had pizzas in a VERY long time (2 years) and I decided to try a piece the other day and I no longer like it
You guys ruined the best friend I ever had. Heh just teasin its worth the gains I've gotten.

just having that kind of pizza is a treat for me. That and soy icecream
Soy ice cream is pretty good. honestly, though, I don't cheat at all anymore. I am at the point where I feel guilty adding an extra pack of Splenda to my food, let alone eating any pizza or cake or any of that stuff. When Thanksgiving or Christmas rolls around the corner, though...WATCH OUT...pretty much only two 'cheats' during the year...I do eat a cookie once in a while, though...Frankly the cheat meal I REALLY want is three times my usual portion of chicken breast with three cups oats measured before cooking, and a whole bottle of Atkins sugar-free Hazelnut syrup, washed down with a huge mug of pure cocoa sweetened with Splenda. I love healthy food so much now I can't imagine eating anything else, really, my desire to cheat revolves around eating MORE than my share of these healthy foods.
Peace.

I'm only 16 and i have a pretty fast metabolism but i pretty much cheat every meal. since both my parents i pretty much make all of my food so it's usually frozen pizza, burritos, pot pies, and canned things like chili. will this hurt me at this point in my life cause i know when you get older your metabolism slows down?

That atkins pizza sounds like I'll give it a try. I'll just limit the amount of grease that goes into it. I never deprive myself of anything because then the craving just gets worse. I use to when I first dieted but that was a horrible experience and now little by little I try things I haven't had in ages. I guess my stomach is just use to no grease, not so bad I guess. Soon my mind will follow my stomach and then I'll actually start to look good.![]()
