Question What do ya think ? Food or Supps ?

Just wanted to see how many of yall just stick w/ food instead of using supplements ( whey, creatine, glutamine, bcaa, etc ) ? Personally I have laid off the powders and supps for a month and strange thing is that in my mind, and to a few co-workers, that I appear to be thicker in the past month. Maybe I gain better w/o. Scary. N e body else with same nutrition habits?

I don't use any supplements save for a whey protein isolate/milk protein isolate/soy/casein/egg white albumen blend that I mix in cooked oats for my post-workout meal. When I run out I just use egg whites or chicken breast instead. I do use R-ALA occassionally and glutamine when I can afford it, but my diet is 90% whole foods. MUCH more satisfying and tasty than shakes and MRPs, IMO...Bars are just trash, btw...

    Peace.

With few exceptions, stick to whole foods. Supplements are just that--supplements to your diet.

i use whey at breakfast, pre-workout, post-workout and before bed

i use a MRP for lunch (beats the shit they sell at my college canteen)

so almoast half of the protein in my diet is from whey, but 'untill we rich' shit ain't gonna change

supps. are so easy and convenient... its either that or i'd spend 4 hours in the kitchen each day and i just ain't got the time

    peace

hey they say there's alot of glycerol in the bars which they dont count it as sugar in the label? and chad, getting your food right is far more important than getting 'the best supplements out there'
