    Body RX Plan Question

I was recently at the Doctors, just prescription renewals, but my doctor have one thing in common, OCD with being in shape and such, he's a nice guy and in damn good shape, older and only at 7.4 bf and he said he uses Scott Ceonelly's Body RX book to keep it that way and said i should pick a copy up. The meal plans and such look quite good and h said, use this plan and you'll be cut, and you usally take your doctors word, haha. So does anyone have any more information or opinions on this book and is it worth picking up for all the information on making meals and such? Thanks alot.

One word of advice: unless a doctor has personally studied diet/nutrition they know close to nothing. Do not think just because they're an MD that they are also experts in the field of nutrition.

what you do is go to your local library and check out the book, and get the gist of things in it. It's a pretty basic philosophy that he talks about, eat lots of fiberous veggies, and lower fat meats, control your intake of starchy carbs, allow yourself some cheat meals, and do a solid weight workout program.

Well I did plan on buying it, just wanted to get some opinions. Also, I would make my own meal plan, however it is not something most people can just pick up and go ahead and make a good meal plan, as such I was hoping to get more information on food and what works by buying the book. Anyways, thanks, I think.
