i once got sure-fine (one of those bargain companies) brand tuna for 38 cents a can, i thought it was a deal, but it was the worst crap i have ever eaten and only had 10g of protein per serving as opposed the the usual 12.5-15

i'm sticking to the big 3 from now on:

    chicken of the sea

I actually just started eating tuna. I have always hatted it. My new recicpe is this. Chunck light in water, one roma tomatoe diced, red onion diced, half cucumber diced, half of a jalepeno diced, and cilantro diced. Mix all together add salt and pepper.
    Lime squeezed right on top.

    Gazpacho tuna salad. Dam good.

Bumble Bee Chunk Light in oil (for some reason it doesn't gag me like the tuna in water does)
Open, drain, eat with a fork.

BTW in Muscle and Fitness they had a sample diet and claimed a tuna on wheat as having 44g of protein, that must be an outright lie or misinformation.
A whole can only has 32g of protein and that's 2.5 servings.
The bread is only about 2-4g protein.
Why not print somethig more reasonable like, maybe 20g per sanwhich (1/2 can plus bread)?

Does anyone ever use those pouches where you can rip them open and eat it straight out of the bag? I tried those and they seemed disgusting to me (even though they're convenient.)

I buy low sodium tuna at Trader Joe's (natural foods store).

Funny, when i first started eating it... i hated how dry it was. A couple weeks ago i ran out and tried some chicken of the sea, and HATED it. In fact, it very nearly made me throw up! I guess i just wasnt used to the consistency.
