    How Serious are you?

Most people on these Boards seem pretty serious about Diet and thier workout routines but I know there are people of all different levels that read and respond to these Boards. I though I would do a poll as to how serious folks are regarding thier Diets as it relates to bodybuilding. I realize there are probably some categories I will miss but just choose the one that fits you the most. I am doing this because I was very strict about my diet at first, then went off the deep end during the holidays and now am settling somewhere about in the middle which i feel will be most comfortable for me. All responses and comments are appreciated.

Yeah i'm very strict too. I'm in the process of bulking so right now i'm more just serious and not extremely serious.

Yes, you choke down more food than you can handle. You CAN cheat more, but then the chances of extra fat being added why you bulk is greatly risen. I just choke down more oatmeal, chicken, venison etc. etc. instead of piling up the calories with junk.

^^ Yup. Typically when I have a 'cheat meal', it's just more clean food than I usually eat...this happens on the weekends...if Im' supposed to have a cup of oatmeal, I'll have a cup and a half to two cups, or if I'm supposed to have 5 ounces of steak, I'll have 8-10 instead...I love my healthy food, I can truly say that cinnamon, cocoa and Splenda flavoured oatmeal is my favourite food on the damn planet...the furthest I go with 'cheats' is adding fruit or dried fruit to my grains, other than that true cheat meals are saved for Thanksgiving, Christmas and other such special occassions.

    Peace.

My life is hip-hop...I spend my whole life appreciating, promoting, reading about, speaking about, learning about, thinking about, listening to hip-hop in all its forms and mediums. Training is just something I do on the side to look good while doing it, haha.

Who do you guys listen to? I'm primarily a underground hiphop fan, I love people like Common, The Roots, Talib Kweli, Mos Def, Hieroglyphics, Pharoah Monch, Aesop Rock, etc. But on occasion I listen to some mainstream acts like Nas, Mobb Deep, Jay Z, etc.

I'm debating whether or not I should attempt at trying to get into hiphop on a professional level. I've been a fan on the music for so long that I'd like to contribute something to it.

I do not Cheat, I will do everything and anything in my power to keep my diet stable, no matter what outside factors come in.

On that note, I get results.

I understand that you have goals but you may want to treat yourself at least once a week. You may go insane doing that.
