    foods containing fiber?

If a particular food has fiber do you automatically subtract from carbs. Example. The nutriton info says 10 carbs and 5gr of fiber would your net carbs be 5 because of the fiber? If this is true is this true for all foods?

    OWF,

Yes, I believe Carbs - Fibre = Net Carbs.
In this case would be 5.

And Yes, this would be true for all foods.
Net carbs are the ones that affect blood sugar levels.
These are the ones you want to eliminate if your cutting.

I could be wrong, but this is the way I believe it works.
