    Question How do you calculate...

Say you're making your own chicken recipe, how would you calculate the P/C/F amounts in it? do you add up all the ingredients that you used in it, then divide it by a certain number (to compensate for the loss in proteins when cooking?)

I know there are many websites out there such as Fitday, and the nutrional database sites, but they can only show so much....

That is exactly how I do it. Calculate the entire recipe then divide it into portions. So if you eat 1/4 of it then only count a quarter of what the entire recipes totals are.
