Raider...what did you do to your knee? I had surgery on mine yesterday. Torn ligaments.

I am still on my cutting diet (or trying too) but am taking my supps along with it. (Glut, mutli vita, fiber) I plan to still train upper body after I go back to the dr. on Monday.

no really cut..but you do need to watch your diet so you dont put on any fat...keep your protein high to help maintain muscle and recover from surgery..also take lots of vit c to help with recovery.....good luck....hope you get back in the gym soon!

(what is going on with your knee?)
My opinions may have changed, but not the fact that I am right.

How about a keto diet? That is what I would do if I was injured or my life kept me outta the gym. You are not crap in the gym on a keto anyway IMO

hey bro... be very careful with your diet while down and out... you're right, you don't want to put on too much fat, but at the same time cutting without lifting may lead to some LBM losses... which are never a good thing...
    Are you kidding me????

Torn ligaments will have you out about 6 weeks. Not sure about the disc, as I only had a few sm tears that he had to stitch back up.

I'm going in to the gym today to train back. Just using machines instead of freeweights or anything that requires pressure on my knee.

I'd listen to what your ortho is having you do. Mine told me 6 weeks of no cardio or leg work depending on how I heal. But he did not say I could not train upper body.
