    FOR SURE!!! they are a great source of complex carbs, TON of fiber and protein! yummy!

    BTW ..Remember a thread about brown rice? Well, I hate brown rice. So I went to a website to compare the G.I of white with brown and the difference is almost nothing.

    I love black beans. I mix them into my brown rice after I cook them. I usually buy this brand which is available in my local supermarket.

    Where did you hear that ?
    That is what every nutricionist in my country says about our basic food (beans+rice).
    Very healthy. But I am sure it canīt provide you all the protein that a bodybuilder needs. You will need to eat a lot of it and you need to take protein from different sources.

    Yes. Normally plant foods are incomplete proteins. Some people dont even bother counting that protien but I would count it because of what I stated. The aminos from a complete protein source will mix with the incompletes making it complete. Ya dig? If you want more info. Run a search online.
