I like them.
I'm not racist.
I love black beans. I mix them into my brown rice after I cook them. I usually buy this brand which is available in my local supermarket.

The statue of Liberty no longer reads "Bring us your tired, your hungry, your huddled masses..."
Now she's holding a baseball bat and it reads "Bring It On."
Yum! Black beans are definitely a pantry staple for me!

is it true that beans and rice in a meal = a complete protein.

That is what every nutricionist in my country says about our basic food (beans+rice).
Very healthy. But I am sure it canīt provide you all the protein that a bodybuilder needs. You will need to eat a lot of it and you need to take protein from different sources.
Any incomplete protein that is mixed with a complete protein becomes complete.

I donīt understand what you mean. Is there such things as complete or incomplete proteins ?Originally posted by donescobar2000

Yes. Normally plant foods are incomplete proteins. Some people dont even bother counting that protien but I would count it because of what I stated. The aminos from a complete protein source will mix with the incompletes making it complete. Ya dig? If you want more info. Run a search online.
