    Fruit Digestion

A friend of mine is a HEALTH FREAK! Its beyond my thinking.... He says that fruit should only be eaten on an empty stomach, or before a meal, or else it just ferments and rots in your stomach. Any opinions?

Eat an apple on a empty stomach and watch it go right through you.

When I eat my fruit on my carb meals, especially high carb day, I eat it first. Reason being is because fructose refills liver glycogen and if liver glycogen is fuller than you are less hungry.

Now, as far as the empty stomach thing - I call Bullshit on it too.
