What is it with you people thinking if you just add fat to a fast burning carb that it will help.It doesn't work that way.

Maybe the oringinal poster posted this question, because they go to movie theatres occasionally and are tempted to cheat - or do cheat.
It's hard to resist that smell of popcorn and trans-fatty butter wafting your way while you heading to the ticket-taker with the bow-tie.
I rent my movies on DVD and watch 'em at home. No temptation there....
Don't go around saying the world owes you a living. The world owes you nothing. It was here first.

I love popcorn and think that everyone should eat a HUGE bucket whenever they go see a movie!!!
unfortunately I have not had any in over two months.![]()
Plain air popped popcorn itself is a healthy, low-calorie, whole grain food with four grams of fiber per three cups and has only 20 calories per cup.
Just stay away from movie theatre popcorn and microwave popcorns.
Adding a fat source with a faster burner carb does slow down digestion? Correct me if i'm wrong!!!Originally posted by Jodi

I don't know why you will eat Spenda but won't eat corn. To eatch their own I guess.

It depends on the diet. If your diet is a low carb high fat diet, it has its benefits.Originally posted by derekisdman

In general Carb + Fat = BAD
Yes, fat does slow down digestion but that should be saved for slowing down protein digestion or carb ups (with slow burning carbs) on low carb diets.
Oh and I do eat corn on my high carb days while bulking.I suppose I should have asked what kind of diet he's on before saying what I said. I'm sick so excuse me if I fuck up every now and then

It is not the problem of cheating. The thing that annoys me at the theathers about popcorn is that the chewing noise is like an alternative soundtrack to the movie.Originally posted by Mr_Snafu

So bring somebody to make out with, and you have an alternative soundtrack of your own lol
