Question Help kick starting my diet...

I'm still 264 ( ) and looking for ways to kick start my diet. I was eating around 150g of carbs a day for a while. it seems to slow me a bit. but it helped my weight training, as far as energy. not much, but enuff to notice.

I read alot about kentosis dieting lately, and it seems to be an option. But wouldn't my body have all the fat it needs as I still have 40 lbs. to lose? so the fuel is there, right?

My girlfriend/ training buddy made me 8 lbs. of chicken today in a variety of non-fatening ways. Should I just eat that (and my RTD's and egg whites) for a week?

    *sigh*

    thanks for reading.

i don't have any experiance with ketosis dieting, but when i cut i usually limit my carbs only to first thing in the morning (oatmeal) and post-workout (dextrose/maltodextrin).

also, you said you need a kick start, sometimes a fat burner does just that. I don't know if you can get ephedra anymore, but something like that.

Muscles are fueled by glycogen (carbs). You need carbs for the muscle to rebuild and work. Limit your carbs but don't go to low. Greekblondchic is right. Just be careful.
