    What do you do when you go on vaca/out of town?

    How do you maintain your diet?

    I'm gonna be in FL over spring break, and i was wondering how to cope with my diet. I was actually considering bringing a bigass cooler, with a bunch of cooked chicken and brown rice in it... lol.

    Taking a week off from the diet really just isnt an option, so any tips would be appreciated.

    Oh, you don´t wanna skip dieting. So, take anything you need.
    There is no other way.
    Maybe you can change brown rice for a processed source of carbs.

    I know this isnt the kind of answer you were looking for...but personally, I'd party my ass off for a week, drink, eat crap, hook up with random chicks, and get back on my diet when its all over. JMO!

    Well if portability is really an issue for you:

    - A good protein blend powder...I dunno...Optimum Pro Complex?
    - Dry old-fashioned or quick oats
    - Ground flax seed meal
    - Psyllium husk for fiber
    - Fish oil caps
    - Natural peanut butter
    - Multi-vitamin/mineral

    And there you have a complete diet. Temporary, of course.

    When I eat out and I am dieting or when I go on vacation and want to watch what I eat I keep it simple.

    Streak and eggs for breakfast

    steak and rice and a salad for lunch

    and chicken or fish but usually steak for dinner also.

    In between meals I will eat a protein bar, or if you are in florida just go to a local GNC and grab some pre mixed protein shakes in a can. They are better than nothing.

    Premo and P... good ideas. I'll definitely be taking a bag of whey with me. I suppose i could grab a box of detours, too...

    Although i may just become completely anal before i leave, and pack up a cooler with the chicken and rice as a piece of luggage...

    Sadly..yes. I missed out on some good shiat
    I was in contest dieting for my first show though. I was very sick and twisted then

    Personally, I think Monolith should let loose a little but limit the alcohol. The extra cals may help his metabolism too. And a few no carb days upon return will help ease the bloat

    Yeah, maybe... if it was only a couple days id probably say screw it, and just enjoy myself. But its a week! Ive been using the CC diet, and the weight has been coming off slowly. Im pleased with the progress, but scared shitless that a week of less-than-strict eating will pack on several lbs of fat. Last thing i want is to have one week that blows the past 2 months of dieting.

    Rent a fridge if there isn't one in the hotel... go to the grocery and get precooked chicken breast etc.... Yes, cold food sucks for most but doesn't bother me!

    For breakfast, I would either eat out or bring protein shake powders and have an MRP. Better than nothing!

    Veggies? Raw--- broccoli because my best friend that week. Rent a microwave and either buy oatmeal (Cheap) or buy a bag of potatoes and microwave them. Sure, it loses nutrients and quality but hey, better than nothing or crap-o-la!

    Honestly, if I were that concerned, I would just buy a 5 lb tup of Whey, a big tub of oats and some splenda (I know its sujpposed to be deadly, but damn it I like it ) and plenty of water. That way, you could make 2 or 3 shakes for the go in between the beer, promiscuity, and unadulterated partying.
