I count protein/fats/carbs/fibers for everything. The protein from beans are incomplete but if you mix with other source you can get it like it is a complete source.

    Thanx
after reading the "debates" on counting fiber with calories or not.. I decided to count fiber with my carb source, calories.. (counting fiber in cereal, rice, oats, yams, bread.. )
except for the carbs in green veggies ( I won't count the fiber or calories in the greens.. and tomatoes as well)

this is just my way for now

pooping is fun...eat some rasin bran and enjoy
My opinions may have changed, but not the fact that I am right.

Not that Iwant to dwell on this but, I'm new to Fiber One, which I really like btw. However, when I had 2 servings of it, and a couple dry handfuls on the first day eating it....

The next day was quite unpleasent. I used to have a serving of psyllium husks every morning, I don't need that anymore lol

It may not be complete when eaten alone but adding some other other sources of protein, carbs, veggies and everything else, it will become complete.

Yes but you don't even have to add animal protein to make it complete. I just found this and thought it might be helpful.

That's why I always eat rice with my beans. I tried the black bean chili with ground turkey that someone posted here and it's a great combo and tastes great.
