I do a potato, some brocolli, and half a chicken breast an hour before workout....
protein shake immediately afterwards....w/ glutamine, and some carb powder thrown in there too....

I am 18 years old ( 19 in a month), I weigh around 185lbs, and I am an ectomorph ( v low body fat), I was wondering what the best pre and post workout meals are. I am not sure what to have if you get what I mean.

Just keep inmind you want slow burning carbs before the workout (yams, brown rice, oatmeal) and fast carbs for after (white rice, bagels). Slow before to last thru your workout and fast after to refuel quickly after. As for pro it should pretty much be equal thru out the day. Alot of people like to go with faster pro source after the workout for the same reason as the carbs, like a whey isolate pro.
very low body fat, are you really tall, cause if not then you gotta be ripped with muscle
Post workout I like a whey protein shake and a banana.
