    Question Teenage Caloric Intake

Since teens have a faster metabolism, should their caloric intake be higher when bulking? IN the sticky posted above Jodi recommended a caloric intake of 15-18cals per lb, however, teens generally have a super faster metabolism, so should this be raised up to 20-25 cals per lb?

It really depends on the person and their metabolism. If you can get away with more then by all means do so but if your unsure, then that would be a good place to start and increase as needed.

Ok thank you jodi, because I'm at the point where I'm getting hungry every 45 minutes or so now, and I'm on a 3000 cal diet. I might try upping this up to 3500 and see how it goes.

Typically it does. However, my metabolism is faster now at the age of 31 then when I was a teenager.
