    Detailed advice needed

Okey dokey, I intruduced myself in the newbie forum but I will give a little more info here.

I'm 32 yrs old, 6'1"ish and weigh 265lbs. I don't know what my current bf% is but I'm sure it's still quite high. I started training for the first time in years last November and my bf% was a staggering 34% (I'm so ashamed). My weight has barely changed since then but I have definitely added some muscle and lost some fat. I'll be calculating my bf% again shortly.

My main goal at the moment is to lose fat. I know I may lose some muscle with it but that's ok. I'm a very stocky person (50" chest) so losing some muscle mass won't hurt me much as I know I can put it back on. I have taught myself about protein, carbs, fat, efa's and created a spreadsheet to calculate my BMR (which I will send to anyone who wants it).

I have been a member of the Muscle & Fitness chat board since last October but I think that the members on this board are more experienced which is why I am coming to you.

Long story short, meal plans and nutrition are my worst area. I know to eat 5-6 smaller meals a day and I have whey powder to help meet that requirement but I just can't get a handle on good meals to eat. I'm married with two daughters so preparing meals for myself is tough.

Any suggestions, recipes, meal plans and such would be very much appreciated. I figure I need no less than 2400 cals a day in order to lose weight (fat).

    Thanks.

Scratch the recipe comment. I can find those all over the place. I guess just some full-day meal plans would be helpful.

Guide to Cutting, Bulking & Maintenance

There is alot of good info on this board I would start out with this link which is a sticky at the top of this forum.

Once you get some Ideas, put together your ideas and post it and someone would be more than glad to help you out with your meals.
