    Size of Veins from Carbs?

Ok... I am doing a consistant low carb diet for my comp. April 3rd. ~50G of carbs per day, with a every 4 day carb refeed. Obviously you all know how difficult even climbing stairs can be at this low energy(Glycogen) level. Here is the question: One hour or so after I do eat some carbs, like my (special) oatmeal cookies that have no sugar other than apples, my veins TRIPLE is size in my arms. I am normally vascular, but on this low carb diet the size of the veins has dwindled away to almost nothing. What exactly is happening here? This is good? is this an indicator for me to know if I should eat more or less carbs???

I am currently 8% or so BF
