Any diet that provides a caloric deficit will work.
Check out the article on Carb Cycling. Most that have tried it find it to be the most satisfying diet because your not as hungry as most diets.
Forgive me if this is a stupid question but carb cycling is new to me. I see it mentioned when someone is trying to cut from...oh let's say 14%BF to 8%BF but what if you have a high BF%? Is carb cycling still going to benefit you over a 5 month period (just picked a number)?
I'm at about 30%BF and would love to cut that number in half. I'm trying to re-tool my diet as I was given some poor info on another board but any advice and guidance would be appreciated and accepted.
Thanks,
Dan

Here is some good reading, I would say that Carb cycling would be fine for and BW and BF. Of course it would need to be tweaked as progress is made, but check out these links. Personally I am really liking it, I find this diet is allowing me to keep the most sane of any diet I have tried. It is all about learning what works for your body.

Thanks for both responses! Since I already know I have to change my diet I think I'll give this a shot.
