Help me figure out my progress

I have been working out and dieting now for 2 1/2 months.
    Trying a clean bulk.
I started out at 170 lbs- 16% BF
I am now at 165 lbs and 10% BF
If my calculations are right I lost 10.7 lbs of fat and gained 5.7 lbs of muscle.
But I am not sure if I am figuring it out right.
Could some one verify if this is correct?

Also if it is correct, does that seem like slow progress?

Your calculations are correct. I don't think your progress is slow. It is hard to lose fat and gain muscle at the same time.

Do have any idea about your strength gains?

    keep it up.

    Thanks titans1854
Yes my streanth has gone up quite a bit

My bench went up 40 lbs.
    Curls went up 40 lbs.
Military press went up 60 lbs.
    Every thing went up.
I have never lifted before, so I thing alot of the gains have to do with learning some technique.
    Thanks again

your strength gains are really good. They will slow a bit in the future. Like right now I usually gain like 10, maybe 15lbs a month on my bench.

Good job, Gains come much quicker in the begining you will see them taper off over the next couple of months.

    Good luck

yeah those are some good gains, but if your bulking, shouldn't you be adding more weight then you lose, although i would rather be like you and lose fat while gaining muscle
