hi all
I am currently back in the weight room from a 3 month hiatus. I"m looking to put on muscle and also lower my crept up body fat , I"d like to know what I should eat right after my workout. It seems from all the research I've read , this is this most crucial meal of the day. PLease any suggestions would be great Piera

carbs and lean protein. no fats.
personally I stick to whey protein and oats or brown rice.

yes being a personal trainer doesn't mean you know everything and you can't discuss with other colleagues about nutrition. I find there are soo many schools of thought when it comes to nutrition and bb. EVEN some personal trainers don't agree on certain topics of discussion.
What I know to be a good post workout meal is high glycemic carbs ie: simple sugars and protein in an absorable form ie: whey shake. I had one colleague go as far as saying that he eats his CHEAT meal after working out, because the body takes anything in at that time and utilizes it to replenish and restore. so the reason I posted was to see what others here ate and how that helped them achieve their goals Piera
