Would this affect the "potency" of whey powder

I'm going to be in need of a quick breakfast tomorrow morning. I have an early class followed by a HIIT session, and I am planning to eat right at the start of class so that I can hit the gym during that 60-90 minute post-breakfast period without eating anything else. As such, I'm going to go cook some oatmeal, mix in my chocolate whey powder, sweeten, and put it in the fridge overnight. What I want to know is, will this in any way shape or form affect the potency of the oatmeal and/or the protein powder?

Are you going to heat up the whey protein?

Well, when I first put the powder in, the oatmeal will be hot, so in that sense, yes. However, I will be eating it cold in the morning.

Anytime you cook protein you lose some of it, but if you let the oatmeal cool down a bit you should be fine.

But the refrigeration won't affect? That's my main concern, I can mix it in after the oatmeal cools down.

No the refrigeration shouldn't do anything to it. If you put your whole 5lb tub of whey in the fridge I dont think that would affect it, I dont see how this would. I sometimes put my shakes in the fridge and someone once told me that wouldn't affect the proteins so you should be fine doing what your doing, just make sure the oatmeal is slightly kewled.

Not at all. It's all in a sealed tupperware container.
