Without a doubt, coffee or more accurately the stimulant caffeine, suppresses the appetite and increases the metabolism. That's why caffeine is used in a ECA stack, along with its mild diuretic properties.
Does Coffee Supress the Appetite???
Most mornings I eat ww toast and a big class of milk and then I take my coffee to work with me. I don't get hungry again until mid-afternoon.
But on days I don't drink coffee, I'm starving by noon.
You guys think it's just a pregnancy thing or is there some validity to coffee supressing the appetite???

Things like caffeine and nicotine are actually strong appetite supressants. You may want to switch to decaf.![]()

when my dad started to attempt to loose the excess weight he gained from quitting smoking he literally would go through a pot of coffee in the mornings and not be hungry til late in the afternoon.(not the best way to try to loose weight, hes hard headed and takes time to beat things in his head!) so yes its defintly an appetite suppressant for sure.
