TP/Jodi- Input? (My Carb Cycling Plan)

Okay, I'm starting tomorrow, I'm taking another no carb day today (did one yesterday too, EXCRUCIATING!) to get myself primed for the diet. I also took the whole of last week off from the gym after a 12 week bulk. Here's the plan for this week:

    Monday- No/Rest
    Tuesday- Low/Chest
    Wednesday- High/Legs
    Thursday- No/Rest
    Friday- Low/Shoulders/Arms
    Saturday- High/Back
    Sunday- No/Rest

Water intake at 8 liters a day

    No Carb Day
Meal 1- 2 cups spinach, dressing made with 1/2 cup ACV and one pack Splenda
8 ounces eye of round steak, broiled
one cup coffee with one pack Splenda

Meal 2- 2 cups romaine, dressing above
    8 ounces chicken breast, boiled
    5 fish oil caps

Meal 3- 2 cups spinach, dressing above
    8 ounces chicken breast, boiled
    5 fish oil caps

    Meal 4- 2 cups romaine/ green peppers/ raduccio
    8 ounces chicken breast, boiled
    5 fish oil caps

Meal 5- 2 cups spinach, dressing above
    8 ounces chicken breast, boiled
    5 fish oil caps

Meal 6- 8 ounces eye of round steak, broiled or 8 ounce sirloin tip, grilled

    LOW CARB DAY

Meal 1- 1 cup oatmeal, 1/4 cup wheat bran, 1 tbsp psyllium, 3 packs Splenda
    1/2 apple
    8 ounces chicken breast, boiled

Meal 2- (PWO) 2 scoops whey
1 cup oatmeal (Should I still be eating an apple post work out?)

Meal 3- (One hour after Meal 2)
    1/2 apple
    1/2 cup brown rice
    8 ounces chicken breast, boiled
sauce made with one teaspoon low-sodium soy sauce, one teaspoon brown rice vinegar, one sachet Splenda
    2 cups mixed greens salad

    Meal 4- 2 cups spinach
8 ounces eye of round steak, broiled
    7 fish oil caps

    Meal 5- 2 cups spinach
    8 ounces chicken breast, boiled
    7 fish oil caps

Meal 6- 8 ounces eye of round steak, broiled
    6 fish oil caps

    HIGH CARB DAY

Meal 1- 1 1/4 cups oats (reason why I measure here is because I work out after meal 1)
    8 ounces chicken breast, boiled
    1/2 apple

Meal 2- Oats, 2 scoops whey

    Meal 3- Brown rice
    8 ounces chicken breast, boiled
    1 cup mixed salad
    1/2 apple

    Meal 4- Hulled barley
    8 ounces chicken breast, boiled
    2 cups spinach
    1/2 apple

Meal 5- 8 ounces eye of round steak
    2 cups romaine
    10 fish oil caps

Meal 6- 8 ounces eye of round steak
    10 fish oil caps

TP, I don't know if you've read the "Clean Cardio" article that I found on Avant, but I was wondering if this would be an effective cardio protocol for this diet later on (If I'm only planning on doing a 7 week cut, would this diet alone get me down where I wanna be? ie 6-7%. I'm presently at 11%)

One more thing, I noticed that spinach is listed as a starchy vegetable. The spinach I eat is a dark green, fibrous, leafy vegetable that is incredibly high in VItamin C and Iron. What's the deal here?

    Peace.

Your plan looks excellent. Perfect as a matter of fact.

Yes, I would add the 1/2 apple PWO.

I'm not sure why Spinach is listed as a starchy veggie I'll have to check that out but it is NOT a starchy veggies it is a fibrous veggie.

TP is again cardio However, if your going to do any cardio then I would think the Clean Cardio is definately a great idea

Jodi, I'm sitting here drained and hungry as hell thanks to yesterday's no carb day and the prospect of only eating veggies and chicken in half an hour. Life is painful after a 15 week carb-heavy bulk. Oh well. High carb day is coming sooonnnn....

    Peace.

    As Jodi sad, looks good.

I'd rather see you tweak the diet tham add cardio, but yes, clean cardio (or HIIT) would be the way to go.
