    Make my Coffee!

I looove coffee, but I don't like drinking it black. I like it very light so I usually use a lot of milk or cream.. which is very BAD!

What can I use to lighten my coffee that adds minimal calories? I wanted to try the powdered non dairy creamer.. I hear its bad for you tho. Any suggestions?

I grew up with sugar and milk in my coffee. My mom started letting me drink coffee when I was in the 5th grade. Lot of sugar and lots of milk and peanut butter on my toast (real gooey). Some where along the line getting sugar and creamer/milk became a complication/hassle and I just started drinking it w/o that stuff. Now I only add milk or splenda if the coffee has been sitting around a while (like after dinner). Just drink it black and move on. BTW, I think it is a hassle (read as complication) to add peanut butter to my oatmeal. Man, I have to cook the oatmeal for like 2 minutes in the microwave, then add splenda, then add whey powder, then add peanut butter. Sheesh. fixing breakfast really takes up my mornings.

I use about a tablespoon of half and half. I'm not going to worry about 40-50 calories that are in that.

I used to like my coffee very light too, but I slowly lowered the amount of milk/cream I used. Now it's down to the one tbsp and I like it that way.

I use instant skim milk powder. Few calories from that aren't going to kill me, and the powder isn't as wussy as regular skim milk. Or Silk soy creamer is quite nice.

You can use that Silk soy creamer. It's good, and doesn't have very many calories at all...plus protein content is pretty high on that, I believe, and only 1g of carbs per serving.

    Peace.

If you are refering to my avi, it is some ordnance being "blowed-up" as part of a ongoing de-militarization program. Basically gettin rid of the old stuff.

I added vanilla protien powder to my coffee once. It tasted pretty bad. Maybe your brand of protien powder will taste better in coffee, I was using Diamond Nutrition whey powder at the time.

Just add some whipped cream, a little caramel, sprinkle with cinnamon sugar, and lace with a nice drizzle of chocolate sauce!
