    meals

I was just wonderding the best way to burn body fat while gaining muscle. Acording to my scale, I have 13% body fat and wiegh 154.4 pounds, so I want to loose about 10 pounds of body fat which would put me at about 6.5%. My max for benching is 200 even right now, and i want to get it up to 230 or more by the end of this summer. Should I diet and take like 4 scoops from my whey protein powder a day, or what? I hope that by the end of the summer i will have gained 10 pounds, lost body fat, and have gotten a lot stronger.

See shortly above your post where it says "Guide to Cutting, Bulking and Maintenance"? Read that. It will give you a good start.

I agree- read the stickies at the top of the forum first. sounds like Twin PEaks Carb Cycling diet would defintly help you along with your goals. many here have had success following it.

and why do you want to get top 6.5%bf?? are you competing? otherwise thats rather low.

    I agree...maintining 6.5 % BF will likely make for a miserable life....if you mean a REAL 6.5%

I just want a 6.5% bf cause i go to college in Jacksonville and there is not shit to do, except go to the beach, and I want a beach body, and something to do besides sit on my ass when I am bored. If I can get into good enough shape, i might pick up wrestling again.

It's not necessary to have a 6.5% body fat to look good on the beach. Your life would REALLY suck if you had to maintain a 6.5, I went down to 4% for a shoot once and believe me I had a) no sex drive whatsoever, b) a feverish desire to eat all the time, c) absolutely no motivation to move, d) cold sweats when I ingested carbs. It's not very fun, I didn't stay down there for longer than three days. 8-12% is a nice place to be most of the year.

    Peace.
